𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭 | 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰 THURSDAY night anniversary edition w/
𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝟳𝟴 [de] | Live 
Move 78 is a Berlin-based band whose music blends improvised jazz, drum-heavy hip-hop, and experimental audio collage. The core line-up consists of Doron Segal (keys), Nir Sabag (drums), Hal Strewe (bass), Meravi Goldman (French horn) and Aver (sampler/production).
“Blurring the lines between live musical interaction and technology, their music is both spontaneous and calculated. The final recordings they produce are the result of an artistic process that mirrors visual art disciplines, in which the end only fully emerges after repeated expressionistic invention, erasure, and addition. Imagine clay or paint being manipulated, torn away and reshaped until the artist says ‘enough’.” (Justin Turford, Truth & Lies, 2023)
Since 2021, Move 78 has released a string of double A-side 7” singles, a 10” drum break record, and five studio albums: The Algorithm Smiles Upon You; Automated Improvisation; Grains; Game Four; and In The Age Of Data.
The band has toured the UK (Ronnie Scott’s, Jazz Cafe, Band on the Wall), as well as shows in the Netherlands (Paradiso), Spain, Denmark, Latvia, Romania, and across Germany.

Dan Vamanu, known simply as Vamanu (or occasionally as Radio Joi), is 1/4 of Cirkular, a dance-punk record label based in Cluj-Napoca. With more than 14 years of experience booking concerts for festivals and venues, promoting bands, and managing stages at events like Untold, Neversea, Electric Castle, TIFF, Smida Jazz Festival, and Zilele Nordului, Vamanu brings both sharp expertise and a heartfelt touch to every music gathering. Whether managing logistics, designing concert posters, or even stepping in as a DJ, Vamanu’s mission remains the same across every role: to make great music stand out.

There's one thing you should know about Teo: she can’t keep herself away from the things she loves. She works in communication, social media and video for festivals/events, she’s an artist assistant, a team coordinator, a lecturer, and now, apparently, a DJ??
For the past three years she’s been making monthly jazz playlists, promoting the genre daily through Jazz in the Park, and recently she started her own show, orange jazz - on blackrhinoradio.com, where she shares old and new jazz, too beautiful to keep for herself.
