IXV is a trip-hop/industrial band drawing inspiration from the iconic sounds of Portishead and Massive Attack, as well as industrial, darkwave, and cinematic soundtracks. Their music is a fusion of haunting violin melodies, breakbeat drums, and powerful bass synths, creating a moody soundscape that takes listeners on a journey through a world both surreal and grounded in gritty reality.
With each note, IXV immerses the listener in a blend of dark tones and erotic rhythms, leaving a lasting impression. They debuted with a live set in August 2021, first performed at Cosmic House and later recorded and filmed there, followed by a string of concerts across the country.
In March 2024, IXV released their second album, "Soundtracks for Crime Scenes,” a seamless fusion of music and cinema featuring an entire film scenario told through its tracks. The album begins with a murder and unfolds by introducing each fictional character along with their background, culminating in a monumental closing dedicated to the victim. Formed in 2011 by Peter (VĂDUVABOB, Uma Swan), Faunlet is a dark alternative band from Bucharest, Romania.
Constantly experimenting with different genres and sounds, from shoegaze, post-punk to doomy gothic-grunge, Faunlet’s music is difficult to pin down, with each album exploring a new sonic landscape, yet always managing to create a deeply personal, dark, emotional and intimate sound.
