The annual PW x Flipside daytime-nighttime collaboration reaches its third iteration.
Following up on two great years in a row with Laurine & Cecilio and Mayell & Sibil as guests, it's time for the crew to tap into their early-days influences and present you with the return to Bucharest of a seminal electronic music artist, Magda.
With a history that surpasses most in the industry and having knowingly shaped underground electronic music for decades, Magda comes to play in one of the best contexts, open air at PW.

Magda's realm as an artist spans far beyond the typical role played by DJs and producers. With an open mind, Magda will try her hand at whatever feels right: from producing high-quality tequila to tech collaborations, fashion and art, Magda has created a truly complex artistic persona.
Born in Poland but raised in Detroit, Magda has evolved through the layers of the industry to forge her own path. She's no stranger to both the established scene, where her time with Minus and as Richie Hawtin's opening DJ shaped her formative years at the end of the 90s, and the deep underground, where she's had a massive impact over the past 20+ years as a label owner and event series curator as well as an influential DJ and producer.
Having a widely-cultured perspective and being well-grounded in the scene means Magda is still very much an actual name. Her touring schedule is amongst the most high-profile and demanding around, with regular bookings at many of the world's very best house/techno clubs and festivals. She's proved herself as a consistent, adventurous and top-quality performer, with a knack for bringing tracks together in unexpected ways.
Her sets move effortlessly between house, techno, and electro, threading together Detroit’s raw energy with adventurous, precise mixing.
On top of all this, Magda has proved herself as a label boss, running the long-standing and successful Items & Things imprint with Marc Houle and Troy Pierce as well as her own Shades Of Blur clubnight.
