Since 2018, Smag På Dig Selv has been pushing the boundaries of genre with their explosive fusion of acoustic techno, raw punk energy, and 90s-inspired dance music. With two saxophones, drums, and a poetic yet activist approach, the trio creates an intense and euphoric live experience. Their groundbreaking sound and fierce stage presence have earned them a reputation as one of Denmark’s most compelling live acts – culminating in a Danish Music Award for “New Live Act of the Year” in 2024.
In April 2024, the band released their debut album SPDS to critical acclaim. That same year, they performed for more than 11,000 people at Roskilde Festival, and their concert at Store Vega sold out five months in advance. The trio is now ready to take the world by storm.
In 2025 alone, they have played SXSW, ESN, The Great Escape, SummerStage NYC, Athens Jazz Festival, and many more shows around the globe.
In March 2026, SPDS will release their second album on the Danish record label Stunt.
