Tramhaus is the live-wire post-punk sensation from Rotterdam, celebrated for their energetic shows filled with fiery songs. The band is known for their broad and ever-electrifying sound that spans from shoegaze to punk rock. This unique blend reflects the diverse and rich musical tastes of its members. Yet, on stage, the band forms a powerful union, captivating the audience from the first to the last note in a maelstrom of emotions.
In their relatively short existence, the symbiotic five-piece have toured relentlessly, steadily gaining popularity. In 2023, the band completed a successful tour in Japan. Their debut album, titled The First Exit, was released in September 2024. Major Dutch newspapers such as De Volkskrant, NRC, and Trouw all awarded the album five out of five stars — a rare and remarkable achievement. Their sold-out show at the large hall in Paradiso also received perfect reviews from critics.
Internationally, the band is gaining massive traction as well. In the fall of 2024, they embarked on a month-long European tour, playing numerous sold-out venues. This year the band will be touring extensively across the EU and the UK.
