MICHAEL IUS

Michael Ius is a Romanian classical guitarist turned techno producer. He studied at the “George Enescu” Music High School and later at the National University of Music in Bucharest, specializing in classical guitar. With a background as a live sound engineer and pop producer, he discovered techno in 2012. In 2020 he began shaping his own sound, refining it after years of experimentation. His music has been released on labels such as Vault Records, Maloer, WSNWGBTZ, Out Of Place, and his own BandCamp “IUS” series. Supported by artists like Rødhad, MARRØN, Lobster, Lindsey Herbert, Insolate, and Grace Dahl, his tracks have been played at Stone Techno, Boiler Room, Berghain, and Tresor.
